Selman Hoti (Kosovo)
Selman Hoti is from Kosovo and works as a Kosovar Sign Language Interpreter, Interpreter Trainer in Kosovo and Albania, Interpreter for signed news in Kosovar Broadcast Television.
In 2007 at the WASLI General Membership meeting, it was agreed to set up the Balkans Region and the WASLI Executive Board together with support of the countries of this region, appointed Selman to develop the work of the Association.
“I agreed to support WASLI in it’s aim to advancing the sign language interpreting profession worlwide. I will work hard to establish National Sign Langauage Associations in the Balkan Region and also network with other interpreter association worldwide.”
