ASLI 25th Anniversary Conference: Call for Papers

The Association of Sign Language Interpreters (ASLI) is hosting a conference for interpreters on 22 and 23 September 2012 in Bristol, England. This is ASLI’s 25th anniversary, and to pay homage to our quarter of a century the theme for this conference is ‘Back to Basics.’
 
This call for papers is to address the basic skills and knowledge that underpins all interpreters’ work. The theme of Back to Basics can be interpreted in many ways but should allow participants to leave with a practical application that will improve their performance as an
interpreter in terms of knowledge, skill, attitude, understanding or professional development. Think CPD, Think Back to Basics.
